Siemens Experienced Wind Turbine Technician

-Troubleshoot or repair mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical
malfunctions related to variable pitch systems, variable speed control
systems, converter systems, or related components.
-Climb wind turbine towers to inspect, maintain, or repair equipment.
-Siemens specific technical training an asset. (Regional compliance,
etc)
-Perform end of warranty inspection on Siemens Electrical and Mechanical
components
– Diagnose problems involving wind turbine generators or control
systems.
-Perform routine maintenance on wind turbine equipment or fiber optic
sensing and control systems.
-Start or restart wind turbine generator systems to ensure proper
operations.
-Test electrical components of wind systems with devices such as voltage
testers, multimeters, oscilloscopes, infrared testers, or fiber optic
equipment.
-Test structures, controls, or mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical
systems, according to test plans or in coordination with engineers.
-Assist in assembly of individual wind generators or construction of
wind farms.
-Maintain tool and spare parts inventories required for repair,
installation, or replacement services.
-Train other technicians in wind commissioning, testing, or other
technical procedures specific to Siemens turbine.
-Inspect or repair fiberglass turbine blades (Considered an asset)

Experienced Wind Turbine Maintenance Technician- Ontario

-Fall Arrest, First Aid, WHIMIS and Rescue Training (must be current) considered an asset.

Wind turbine blade manufacturing technician-Tillsonburg, ON
We are looking for blade technician with experience working with wind turbine fiberglass blades or composites. Candidate must have working hands-on knowledge with fiberglass

Responsibilities
• Perform repairs on wind turbine blades in an industrial setting
• Perform different type of laminations to customer standards
• Ensure repairs are completed to customers standards
• Prep repair are with grinder. Knowledge of fiberglass layering a must.
• Working in a team environment.
• Flexible working hours, ability to travel if needed

Qualifications
• 1 yr experience working with fiberglass/composites or wind turbine blades
• Composite/fiberglass training preferred or equivalent experience
